Lapi Mariner

​From a young age Lapi would sing in church, at home and jam with the family. He was a talented teenager and began singing with a group of friends at school. 
In 2001, Lapi was the voice behind ‘It's just a matter of faith’, the Warriors theme song for over 17 years –becoming a national song and catchphrase – and this gave him countless opportunities, including travelling the world – because of that song.  Lapi was then part of the iconic group Jamoa Jam – recording and releasing original music and Pacific language favourites. They were renowned for their vocal talents and harmonies.
Lapi is a professional singer, working constantly and splitting his time between singing at concerts in the Pacific Islands, New Zealand and touring America, with international artist Fiji.
“Go Back” released in 2018 is a return to his original music and a future solo album.
