EMILY MULI

​Fusing elements of neo-soul, RnB, jazz and her Tongan roots, Emily Muli's eclectic sound continues to reach new heights. Heiress to a generational legacy of musical story-telling left by her late grandfather Henele Vaka Muli, Emily has journeyed from humble beginnings to becoming a multi-instrumentalist, budding producer, experienced performer and singer-songwriter.
 
In 2018 she opened her first national tour for Aaradhna, going on to release her debut single in 2019, ‘Rhythm & Truth’.  Emily continued to build a growing following internationally. In 2020's Covid-19 lockdown, she released "Self-Care", with her band sending in their recorded parts from their remote bubbles. This became a reminder for the times - and is a relevant message even today.  Since then she has headlined shows for Auckland Arts Festival, Music In Parks and more, and is currently working on new music to offer to Aotearoa, the Pacific region and beyond.
