Fijian singer-songwriter Apakuki Nalawa, known simply as KUKI, is a true embodiment of Pacific soul. Rooted in the rich musical traditions of Fiji, KUKI has built a career that seamlessly blends island rhythms with contemporary sounds, making waves far beyond his home shores.

From intimate acoustic sets to commanding festival stages, KUKI’s journey has taken him across the Pacific and beyond. Currently, KUKI is working on a deeply personal project; a soulful rendition of Selena’s timeless hit, I Could Fall in Love. This project was inspired by an emotional visit to Selena’s grave in Corpus Christi, Texas, a moment that reignited his passion for storytelling through music.
