Glen JXN Jackson

Glen "JXN" Jackson is a prominent Niuean musician, producer, and multi-disciplinary artist whose work has become a cornerstone of contemporary Pacific music. Born into a lineage of musical talent he only fully discovered after returning to Niue in 1985, Jackson has spent decades blending traditional Niuean soul with modern production. Starting his professional journey under the Nafanua Records label with the Kila Kokonut Krew, Jackson released his debut album, FUATA NIUE, in 2006.
 
Since then, he has evolved into a prolific independent artist, operating out of his home studio on Niue. His music often explores themes of identity, heritage, and the ""inner beast"" of human decision-making, a concept central to his 2019 album Talako (meaning Dragon).His most recent landmark project, ""Niue 1976"" (2025), is a massive 20-track tribute to the sounds and stories of his homeland, featuring collaborations with local artists like Adorra Mavaetangi and Albert Hekesi.
