Iva Lamkum

Iva Lamkum is a genre-defying New Zealand artist whose powerhouse, soul-rooted voice cuts across hip hop, reggae, jazz, funk, and rock. Rising from the Wellington scene, her self-titled debut EP quickly gained national traction, earning award nominations, radio play, and a growing live following.
 
Her breakout moment came with collaborations like “Turn Around” with Sola Rosa, which led to a performance at the Vodafone New Zealand Music Awards and international attention. This momentum secured her a deal with Sony Music New Zealand, culminating in her debut album Black Eagle (2012).
 
The album showcased her versatility and featured collaborations with leading artists including P-Money and Aaradhna. It earned critical acclaim and multiple nominations at the Pacific Music Awards, while also gaining global recognition, being named one of MTV Iggy’s “Top 13 Divas to Watch”.
 
Lamkum has performed on major international stages including Glastonbury Festival, Sziget Festival, and Riddu Riđđu Festival, and toured across Europe, the UK, Australasia, and the Pacific. Her collaborations span globally, including work with producer DJ Vadim and US producer Ace Cosgrove, with placements on international platforms like HBO’s Power.
 
With over half a million streams on standout tracks like “Kung Fu Grip” and experience working alongside industry heavyweights such as Mike Elizondo, Lamkum continues to evolve as a global artist, blending raw authenticity with world-class musicianship."
