Jaro Local is an award-winning singer/songwriter from the Solomon Islands. His music career began with his brothers over 10 years ago, and he became a solo artist in 2016. Jaro Local has gained more popularity across the Pacific, Australia and New Zealand, performing to sold out shows and consistently accumulating millions of streams.
 
Jaro Local (real name Jeremy Saeni) is a celebrated Solomon Islands artist making waves across the Pacific with his signature blend of modern island music and soulful reggae-infused rhythms. Emerging from the vibrant local music scene, Jaro first found his footing as a teenager in the urban boy band Dezine, performing alongside his cousins. Inspired by his father, iconic Solomon Islands musician Sharzy, Jaro carried forward the legacy, infusing it with a fresh, contemporary twist.

Since launching his solo career in 2016, Jaro Local has quickly risen to international acclaim, racking up awards such as Best International Pacific Artist, South Pacific Artist of the Year, and Rookie of the Year. His hit single "Dakini Tangarareh" has become a fan favourite, amassing millions of streams on YouTube and gaining recognition on major Spotify playlists, including the popular Hawaiian Reggae list.

A true cultural ambassador, Jaro Local proudly showcases his heritage and language in his music. He has graced the stages of premier festivals like One Love Reggae Festival and has opened for reggae legends including Big Mountain. His touring resume spans the Pacific, with performances in Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, PNG, New Caledonia, Samoa, Tonga, and Vanuatu.
