​​In 2016, the Pacific Music Awards worked with its existing sponsor MAINZ, to confirm a scholarship for a Pacific student.   This was worth up to $8,500 towards tuition fees for the 2017 academic year.  The scholarship winner will have the choice of studying music, event management, audio engineering and production, business or live sound
