Tongan artist and musician Emily Muli’s signature sound fuses elements of neo-soul, RnB and her roots. A natural storyteller, Emily has journeyed from humble beginnings to becoming a multi-instrumentalist, budding producer, performer and songwriter.
Her debut single, “Rhythm & Truth”, was released in 2019, followed by her lockdown tune, “Self-Care” in 2020. She was awarded the Phillip Fuemana Most Promising Artist Award at the Pacific Music Awards in 2021. She ended 2021 with her latest single “Break”, which was produced by ASTRO. Her most recent project was a tribute song to Tonga that she performed with her musical group, House of Misfits, for the opening of the Commonwealth Youth Awards this year.
