Jaro Local is a singer/songwriter from the Solomon Islands, who is a fast-rising star around the Pacific making waves internationally with his unique blend of modern island music. It should be no surprise that Jaro Local is making music that is resonating with island music fans from all over the world, as he grew up watching and learning from one of the very best his father Solomon Islands music legend Sharzy, one of the first artists whose music spread all across the South Pacific in the 90’s and early 2000’s.
Jaro began his own musical journey when he was a teenager by joining island urban boy band Dezine with his cousins Sean Rii and Santana. After going solo in 2016 and Jaro Local has reached new musical heights winning Rookie of the Year, Song of the Year and South Pacific Artist of the Year awards at the PNG Music Awards in 2017, performing in sold-out tours across the Pacific and internationally in Australia and NZ and achieving over 16M+ streams over his music across digital platforms.

What began as a small group of struggling university students, quickly turned into a creative community of songwriters, musicians and singers that banded together to release songs of hope in the midst of the Covid-19 outbreak in 2020. Representing diverse cultures, speaking different languages and carrying their own experiences, House of Misfits is a multi-cultural group of ordinary Kiwis who have continued to share messages of truth through song.
Their most recent single, "Tā Te Manawa", was released in 2021 - a bilingual song about yearning to know one's indigenous language, paying tribute to indigenous peoples of Aotearoa while highlighting the shared experiences of the wider Pasifika diaspora Foundation is a roots reggae band, based in West Auckland, Foundation members have all different music journeys and when they come together you can hear many soulful influences. Headed by South Auckland’s very own son and award-winning artist/songwriter/producer Chong-Nee. The band has played some of the biggest stages in Aotearoa and abroad, including Raggamuffin, Exodus, Reggaelution, One Love, East Coast Vibes...the list goes on.
Recently, the band has added a new frontman, Nofo Lameko.Given the musical direction of Chong-Nee, the band’s music has always been their own version of reggae, with a particularly strong influence of RnB – giving them a uniquely distinctive sound amongst the local scene. Although from different musical backgrounds FOUNDATION has come together through their mutual love of Reggae and the message of love and unity. Tongan artist and musician Emily Muli’s signature sound fuses elements of neo-soul, RnB and her roots. A natural storyteller, Emily has journeyed from humble beginnings to becoming a multi-instrumentalist, budding producer, performer and songwriter.
Her debut single, “Rhythm & Truth”, was released in 2019, followed by her lockdown tune, “Self-Care” in 2020. She was awarded the Phillip Fuemana Most Promising Artist Award at the Pacific Music Awards in 2021. She ended 2021 with her latest single “Break”, which was produced by ASTRO. Her most recent project was a tribute song to Tonga that she performed with her musical group, House of Misfits, for the opening of the Commonwealth Youth Awards this year. Diggy Dupé has come a long way from teenage days spent making music with his cousin REDDXROZAY, using the most basic of tools: a Motorola phone and SingStar microphone. A finalist for Best Hip Hop Artist at the 2019 Vodafone New Zealand Music Awards (alongside Avantdale Bowling Club and Church & AP) with his 2018 EP Island Time, the 2020 release of Diggy’s debut album, That’s Me, That’s Team cemented the artist’s position in the local music industry. His first full-length project, That’s Me, That’s Team holds a special place for the emcee, who explains that “It proved that I could go the distance and produce a solid body of work rather than just small EPs here and there.”A finalist for Best Hip Hop Artist at the 2019 Vodafone New Zealand Music Awards (alongside Avantdale Bowling Club and Church & AP) with his 2018 EP Island Time, the 2020 release of Diggy’s debut album, That’s Me, That’s Team cemented the artist’s position in the local music industry.
