VPMA Showcase at Urbanesia

​Hawkins Theatre in Papakura celebrates the winning stars of Pacific music, recognised at the 2016 Vodafone Pacific Music Awards - NZ.
 
Don’t miss dynamic live performances from VPMA winners Vince Harder, Team Dynamite, TJ Taotua and Mikey Mayz. This line-up of artists are performing together for the very first time at this free, one-night-only event. Alongside the VPMA artists will be local acts from Papakura High School, a live DJ and a photo exhibition of the 2016 VPMAs, Notes on Success, by photographer Raymond Sagapolutele.

Vince Harder topped the charts with P-Money’s hit single Everything in 2008. He has been writing for numerous artists including Stan Walker, Timomatic, Fourtunate, Jai Waetford, Bonnie Anderson, Moorhouse, Titanium and Whenua Patuwai.

TJ Taotua, a performer of RnB, soul, jazz fusion and gospel music, is known for his debut single Foreign Queen. Team Dynamite’s debut album The Demo Tape will be released in December.

Doors open at 6.15pm for a 7pm start.
